AALBERSE, Petrus Josephus Mattheus (“PIET”)
(1871–1948). Jurist and politician. Aalberse was a member of Parliament for the Rooms-Katholieke Staats Partij (RKSP, Roman Catholic State Party) and served as minister of labor affairs and of trade and industry (1918–1925). He wrote treatises on social and economic issues.
